Question: I’m thinking about implementing Moodle as my LMS. I need an LMS that I can upload the SCORM content that I create using Articulate Studio ’09 and Articulate Storyline. I’m not interested in an LMS where you have to use the templates that the LMS provides. If could provide me with more information, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you for submitting your LMS question. I’m not sure what you mean when you say “…have to use the templates that the LMS provides.” Regarding Moodle, it is a very good open source (free) Learning Management System. It does require some web administration and programming skills to set up correctly. You can work with an official Moodle sponsored vendor like Remote Learner. They offer affordable setup and hosting fees and can get you going for a reasonable cost. Moodle can be used to do what you describe and will more than meet your requirements. Articulate also offers a hosted LMS solution you might want to consider, especially if you are simply testing your courses to confirm they function as expected within an LMS. They call their product “Articulate Online”. Thank you for your question. I hope you find the above answer useful.
