The Tin Can API is a completely new e-learning standard that allows eLearning developers to enhance and extend projects including Mobile learning and games, as well as track all learning activities (within or outside of a Learning Management System) within on central repository called a Learning Record Store (LRS). This new standard was designed via a cooperative effort between Rustici Software (SCORM.com) and the ADL (the original SCORM standards group).
